Very important thing about denim is that usually the color can transfer to other materials during washing, therefore we made a test to see if the color would still transfer even if we used an old pair of jeans. For this test we cut a small samples from our jeans and sewed a piece of white fabric (viscose) to it. We prepared our washing liquid and heated it on 60°C (the temperature of washing), we also prepared containers that we used for the washing by adding 25 metal balls to each of them. When the washing liquid had the right temperature, we placed the samples into the containers with metal balls, added 50ml of washing liquid to each of them, closed the containers and placed them into GyroWash machine that was preheated for 60°C. The washing cycle took 30 minutes. After the washing was finished, we let the samples dry in one of the dryers.

The next day we took a look at the color charts and compared our samples with it. We decided that the difference is very similar to the number 4 on the color chart. That means that the color was transfered and made the fabric look grayish but it wasn't a very visible change.
